Dear fellow San Franciscans,
Nancy Pelosi, our 20 term Representative, has indicated that she will once again run for her office in 2026.
This is a terrible idea. DO NOT VOTE FOR HER.
To put it simply, she doesn't care about us.
Our housing is too expensive. Our healthcare is awful. Our schools are closing due to a lack of funding. We can't even afford goddamned eggs anymore.
Why?
Well, here's her big accomplishment of 20 terms in office: the wealth gap has grown to despicable levels. The 800 billionaires now hold more wealth than the bottom 50% of the country.
That's 160 million people. These are us. You, me, your family, your neighbors, your children, your friends. Each billionaire is now worth 200,000 regular people. That's a small city's worth of population each.
Does that even make any sense at all? No. The billionaire robber barons are stealing everything from us.

Well, during her 20 terms in office, she made a LOT of money. Around $259,000,000 actually. All off of a Representative's salary of $174,000 a year. She should've only made $174,000 x 40 years = $6,960,000 in her 40 years in Congress, so where did the other $252,040,000 come from?
The billionaire robber barons. Our abusers. She took their donations, and inside traded the stocks of their companies, such as Tesla, Amazon and Facebook.
In other words, she let people like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg rob us blind, all so she can enrich herself in the process.
She assumes that she can just keep letting us get robbed, and we're all too stupid to realize it and will keep voting for her until she dies of old age, surrounded by stolen wealth.

Elon Musk and the Trump administration are currently rapidly and illegally gutting many essential parts of our government. Such as:

Nothing.
She's doing NOTHING.
Pelosi and the Democratic Party leaders are adopting the mantra of "roll over and play dead".
They are hoping that Trump and Elon will ruin the country so badly, that us, the voters, will come scurrying back to them. Without them having to change a single damned thing.
She's smugly waiting for us to flee from our current abuser who's viciously beating us to death, so we can run back to her, the other abuser who has instead been slowly starving us to death.
"The lesser of two evils" they call it.
We can't live like this. We will not be beaten down by Elon and Trump, and we will also not be made into the slaves of the billionaire robber barons.
